First and foremost, congratulations on becoming somehow you can’t describe you are youth or gray-haired! Feeling so excited, are you?

Let me tell you something about adulthood. Everyone is going through this phase right now, where you want to be your best version of yourself but the world is so cruel to you…… The moment when you are no longer a student, you feel naked. in a bad way. No one is your guardian anymore. You have to stand tall, be responsible for your life…or don’t at all.

Life is a journal. You keep flipping through each day. Some pages might be so thrilling that you want to re-read and redo it all over again, while some pages might be blank or even dreadful.

Living in the 20s is somehow like a diary book. Somedays, you don’t know what to write, but you don’t want to let it blank either. You try to make up something…. like should I color it? or leave it bnw? And when you try to do something, you are afraid it will come out bad. But then, fuck it. Life is about trial and error. More error actually. You will experience rejection, ignorance, and people.

I was today to finally realize the only human that is sincere to you is yourself.

Adulthood means you have to worry about everything, starting from money, career, health, and love. People are selfish… they always do. I believe people only will take care of other people when they truly sincere with them or they want something out of them. Feeling mutual? Welcome to the club, honey.

But then, I still believe our youth adulthood is the prime time to shine. To be the best of what you are capable of. To strive for what you are aiming and to learn the most of what you have yet known. You will learn pain, betrayal, lies, and everything. These can only be experienced through time. And by the time you experienced everything, you will understand this is the process of life.

Moving along, adulthood is the path to wrap up our story as well. You can choose to live a monotonous life or not. And when you are middle age, you will look back and realized how much have you live and how your life has been so content that you kinda forget how you used to be when you are a kid.

Living the best of your life, they said. Because when you are old, the only things that left are regrets.

Cheers to adulthood. The real chapter has just started.
